Two day route The Big Circle day 1 Description

You start at Lūšys lake, then you go through Meoronos stream – Dringykštis lake – Dumblynė stream – Dringys lake until you reach a campsite in the Juodakumpis bay nto far from Vaišiūnai village. Dringis is one of the largest(3rd by size) lakes in Aukštaitija National Park.

From there on agreed time we will transport you to Baluošas lake. In that lake you can visit an island with a it’s own lake or visit ethnographic village Šuminai where “Tadas Blinda” movie was shot. After Baluošas lake you swim through Baluošykštis lake – Skregždą stream – Srovinaitis lake – Srovė river until you reach Ginučiai village with an old watermill. You’ll need to carry your kayaks across the road, it is recommended to visit XIX century mill’s museum. There is a shop, cafe and a place to bathe with below a waterfall.

After you stop you swim to Almajas lake in which when you find a campsite stay there for a night. If you still have some extra stregth left, you can visit beekeeping museum in Stripeikiai village.

Two day route The Big Circle day 2 Description

Go to Almaja river through Almajas lake. Later enter Asėka stream and row through it to Linkmenas lake. Don’t miss your opportunity to visit Likmenai mound, where in times of crusaders stood wooden castle. We recommend to visit Ladakalnis ,the sight from the hill is very beautiful, you can see 6 different lakes: Asėkasm Linkmenas, Alksnaitis, Alksnas, Pakasas and Ukojas.

After that swim through Unkstis stream to reach Asalnykštis lake where you’ll see tallest island in the Lithuania – Gimžiškė. before you enter Asalnas lake, visit Puziniškis Oak. After Asalnas you’ll get to Lūšiai lake where you’ll find finish at our boat base. For those who wants more fun after that we can offer paddle baording.
